At Island Secret Garden our goal is to help your children grow and learn, not only through open play, but through structured classes we call enrichment programs. Enrichment programs are especially important for children who have not experienced a classroom environment or may be struggling in their classroom. Classes are purposely kept small to help little ones learn to follow instructions and interact with their peers in an appropriate way.

Arts & Crafts: This programs has been created for toddlers and preschoolers to explore the world of arts & Crafts beyond crayons. All of the projects will relate to a theme. While these actives are designed for children (2 & up) to be able to create on their own, some adult assistance my be required.

Gym Tots: Fun class for ages 3 to 5. This class is designed toencourage physical development and play in a safe, fun environment through gymnastics. Kids will learn basic tumbling, balance beam, rings, and vault. This class will also develop overall strength and flexibility.

Mommy & Me: Early learning of movement for infants to 24 months old. This is done with both mommy & baby and helps to promote bonding between mother & child. Babies will learn body awareness, while learning to socialize and play.

Music Together: Music Together is an internationally recognized early childhood music program for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners, and the adults who love them. Early childhood music that strongly emphasizes and facilitates adult involvement.

Introduction to Languages: Children will learn a variety of language and communication skills through exciting games, activities and more. Studies show that during the early stages of development learning languages comes easily and natural for children.

Introduction to Martial Arts: Toddlers and preschoolers will learn the basic skills of Martial Arts in a controlled environment. There are no uniforms or belts. This is just a simple introduction tot he world of Martial Arts.

Reading, Rhythm, and Rhyme: PreReading Skills for 3 and 4 Year Olds Using stories with rhyme and rhythm to teach prereading skills and enhance the love of reading!

Science for Kids:This program has been created for toddlers and preschoolers to explore the world of science through simple experiments and models. All of the projects or experiments are safe, non-toxic and based on a science field. While actives are designed for children to be able to create on their own, some adult assistance may be required.
Instructor: Nikki Faery Story Time: There is nothing better than a classic story time! Join us for a couple of books, some songs and a short simple craft. This is one of the best ways to expose even the youngest ISG guest to the love of books!
